"Shanda's various businesses share the same elements and have their own characteristics. In recent years, Shanda's subsidiaries have had some close connections, but this requires a process of adjustment and mutual learning. Now, Shanda's various subsidiaries have formed relatively good interactions. For example, for Shanda Literature's copyrights, we can internally prioritize purchasing them, develop them into film and TV works, and then provide them to Ku6 and other external platforms. Literary copyrights are no longer just for developing games as before. " said Zhao Yurun.

In November 2009, Shanda Network and Hunan Broadcasting jointly invested 600 million RMB to establish Huaying Shengshi. This year, Long Danni, President of Huaying Shengshi, decided to resign from her position, and former Shengshi Jiaoyang Vice President Zhao Yurun took over as CEO.

Regarding Huaying Shengshi's development, Zhao Yurun admitted that he has recently been reflecting on some things, believing that last year's production of Huaying Shengshi's film and television productions was too traditional, focusing only on traditional production.

"In producing traditional film and TV dramas, companies like Huayi and Poly Bona have been doing this for a long time, making it hard to compare in the short term. Therefore, this year, in addition to traditional film and television dramas, Huaying Shengshi will also make efforts in new media investment and platforms. " said Zhao Yurun.

In the new media field, Huaying Shengshi is exploring a new model this year: "microfilms." Zhao Yurun even predicts that by next year, the microfilm model specifically targeting the new media market will explode.
